My vote was the same as FSUpilot's. At the end who really cares. All I care about is I don't wanna be forced to wear a hat. It'll be funny if we "become" Expressjet. Wow, months of research and brainstorming... We all are geniuses!

You should go with Sky Connection. It brings to mind the Lego airport set I had when I was a little kid. The airplane looked like a 145 too.

Ok honestly please do not vote for "Sky Connection". Are you kidding me? Delta Connection operated by Sky Connection? EPIC FAIL. Plus, Sky Connection sounds like the name of an airline that was around for 6 months and then was never heard from again. Much like "SkyBus". I personally think the ExpressJet name with the ASA logo is the best alternative. But for the love of God, DO NOT keep the Acey callsign. I'm not trying to bust balls here, but that callsign is just awful. If ASA guys are too proud to keep Jetlink (which I honestly think is sweet) then go with "Surely" in honor of the SureJet name. At least something can come out of the hundreds of thosands invested into a name that lasted a few hours. hahaha.

I think there are far more important things to be concerned with than a callsign. You can call me "Fart Box" for all I care. Just keep the paycheck coming! haha

For what its worth, Acey actually has historical context and pays homage to the company's origins. Asa Candler (which is where "Acey" came from) was responsible for the success of Coca-Cola, was Atlanta's mayor, and Candler Field (now Hartsfield-Jackson) was named after him. There was a period of time in which the FAA required ASA to change their callsign, and we were briefly "Candler," and we thus have used Asa's first and last names for callsigns. I think its pretty cool. I'm a huge history buff, though.

Wait, Asa Candler is a real person's name? They took Asa and came up with Atlantic Southeast Airlines out of it? So this Asa guy started up this airline?

I Kinda like Endeavor Airways. Or Maybe not - a connection to a space shuttle name might not be the best - even if it was one that didn't blow up.

I always thought Expressjet was a pretty classy name. I always liked Atlantic Southeast too, but it does kind tie the brand to a region its grown out of now.

'Course, I don't work there, so my opinion and $7 will get you something grande from Starbucks.

I guess Surejet is off the ballot then? Wonder how much THAT party cost?

"Acey" has nothing to do with Asa Candler. ASA changed its callsign to "Candler" about a decade ago (remember that?) after a conflict with a Guard fighter Unit ("Acer") mandated ASA change its callsign, paying homage to Asa Candler's Atlanta history as a corny by-product. "Acer" went defunct and ASA was allowed to change back to "Acey." Nothing significant about "Acey."

Guys the "Acey" callsign was originally spelled "ASEA" for Atlantic SouthEast Airlines. It's just spelled "Acey" because that's how it sounds.
