My first airline interview experience...

I didn't interpret this as entitlement or being owed anything, just excitement towards a new opportunity.

You're better off. You were trying to get on with a pilot staffing company, which future is in question. Keep your chin up and I can guarantee you they're are better opportunities coming your way!

If it makes you feel any better, the Eagle hiring and HR department (I must emphisize... NOT THE PILOTS) are the worst in the industry. I promise you that future interviews with other airlines will be much more pleasant.

You must be joking!?!?!??!?!!? Did you interview with Lakes, Commutair, Colgan or Piedmont, because they feel like a fly by night operation, esp COLGAN!! and Eagle feels like a major airline.

Nope... didn't go to them... just stating the facts...
1) The vast majority of people I've known who have interviewed there (a good bunch of them even getting hired) had a terrible experience with the interviewers... they are unpersonable, snobby *********s. (quoted from 2 of my friends)
2) The Eagle hiring department hired a criminal using a fake ID to work as a FA... how the entire department wasn't fired I have no idea...
3) As I said in my original post... my criticisms are limited to the Eagle hiring department... NOT the pilots... the pilots are a good group of guys getting hosed over by their company (just like every other regional)

Commutair... got called by them back in '08... never scheduled an interview... so I can't comment on them... though a former student of mine flys there and seems to be having an OK time with them...
Colgan... That comment is invalid thanks to Pinnacle's takeover, it's a good airline now...
Piedmont... Agreed...
