Default CRJ checkride

Hi guys. I'm just curious about the system questions that you get asked during the checkride? Any comment?

There's an iPhone app called Flash Q/Ard that has several CRJ oral prep flashcards. I put one in there as well but there were already several others that existed for ASA, SkyWest, XJT, Pinnacle, Air Wisky etc. Good luck.

My friend did his crj systems oral prior to his check ride ( a week) prior
the check airman went through the panel systematically asking what does this do , the test procedure for that item and the associated limitations that apply to each item .

He was also asked to state random flows and demonstrate them
He was then given a weight and balance and had to spin the CG wheel . He said the oral was a non event as he had been prepped for it well by the time he git to that stage of training . Hope this helps !FP

I way over studied for mine (but who doesn't, right?). It took 2 hours, all the systems questions were strait forward and simple, no trick questions. Good luck!

Make flashcards of every switch, dial or gauge in the cockpit. For ex. it could be as simple as the Batt Master Switch. Draw the switch on the front of the card with the two selected settings ON and OFF. On the back of the card answer what happens when the switch is selected to ON or OFF. Do this for every switch. This may sound mundane and simple but I've done it for every transport category plane I've ever flown SF340 through 767. I've never had a problem on an oral. There will be other scenarios involving systems peculiar to each airplane that instructors and check airmen emphasize but if you know the Memory/Recall items, limitations and the switch descriptions you will pass any oral exam whether SIC or PIC Type. Good luck.
