i actually think its going to be the exact opposite. i think the reason they delayed the report is because you can't ask for cuts from the employees when the numbers look good. i think they were planning on us already having a concession deal by now. our on time performance was third in the nation during the fourth quarter. that means not only do we not have penalties like last quarter but we get performance bonuses. i still think we need some streamlining to take place and the united stuff needs to be profitable. i also think we will give some concessions as far as training and vacancies go. we will see soon enough i guess.

Add to that the latest union email from Wednesday night. It said that their financial analysis did not see ANY need for a permanent wage cut while Menke says that we can't survive without one. Somethings gotta give, but I think we are in for a surprise, hopefully a good one.

as far as profitability if the 9e 200s and the mesaba 200s and 900s arent getting penalized then we are operating at a profit even with colgan operating at a loss. just like it has been for the last 4 or so years. i understand they want all parts to be profitable but it shouldn't come from the group that just got its first pay raise in seven years less than a year ago.
