Default Rental cars in MCO?

Anyone know which rental car agency gives the best airline employee discount? There are so many to choose from and they all give you the run around over the phone. Just looking for any first hand expeirences with them if you have had any sucess there. Thanks!

A travel site like kayak or priceline will give you a better deal.

Its been a few years since I rented a car in MCO but I used E-Z rent a car a few times. I was under 25, but I got a car for like 18 bucks a day...the under 25 fee was 20 a day...still ended up being way cheaper than anyone else. Plus the people behind the desk were always friendly. Used them 4 or 5 times probably.

Carrentals.com dude. I've gotten cars for $6/day +tax. Granted that was in Anchorage in mid-winter, but they're usually pretty solid.

Thanks guys. Online was definitely best. Carrentals.com got me one for 22 per day which was much cheaper than anything over the phone. Apparently it its the beginning of spring break next week.

MCO has 80% of the car rental companies on site at the airport, you get to walk to get your car instead of a bus. However, the cheaper rental companies are often off site, and require a bus. I'd rather pay an extra $5 a day an avoid the bus. Check the pickup location for your company.

Plus MCO has the honor of always having the station with the most expensive gas in the country., Sun Gas. What is funny is they don't post signs so tourists pull in to fill up their rentals, swipe their card and realize they are paying $5.99 a gallon.

It's on Semoran Blvd. best not to fill up there.
