I've been waiting on whether or not to make a 700/900 version. I wasn't quite sure if they were as weight critical as the 200
4+ years on the 900's and never had a takeoff weight issue and only a few times was close on landing weight issues. Not quite as good as the Avro that way but close.

Didn't think those 900s had issues. Im guessing never really asked people to move from front to back on the avro lol.

I've made an app called PocketACARS and what it does is it simply figures out how many bags/pax you can take when you are weight critical (it doesnt calculate balance) It is mainly for planning purposes (non ACARS environment, gate agent bugging you, jumpseater etc...)

Long story short, version 1.01 is currently in the app store but I have 53,000 (max struct. to limit) 47,000 (max land limit) and 44,000 (max ZFW) currently hard coded as the absolute limitation... I've heard of different airlines having different limitations so I'd like to ask you 200 drivers out there if you have limitations that are different to the ones Ive listed above, not including min flight weight or max ramp weight. I only need those 3 limitations if yours are different so that way I can incorporate it on the next version of my app, which is actually FREE! Feel free to download it if you'd like... If the moderators would let me, here's the link:

App Store - PocketACARS

Your numbers ring a bell. If I am recalling correctly you can even get a -100 certified to -200 weights, with an LOA.

If you could get the FAA to give it their blessing you could have a potentially rewarding career opportunity. Especially if you could do performance tailored for 757, 767, 777, A380 etc. If it saves time & money, the 121 world wants it.

I've used Ultranav before for a Part 91 outfit and it's perfectly legal as far as W&B goes. As long as your programming has the exact numbers at the Manufacturers data... they'll approve it.

Well done man... Looks like your on to something.

You could make the MLW, ZFW, AND MTOW changeable and that way more than just CRJ operators may buy it.

If you use my idea, chip me off 10%. I keed I keed....kind of

Do all CRJ100/200 operators use 2 pax zones for W&B or do any of you guys use more, just curios. (before somebody says it, I know the 700/900 have more than 2 zones)

I am long removed from CMR, but when I was there we had -200's with a 51000 MTOW as well as the 53000 limit. Not sure if any others have those or not.
