Default RAH $30 1st year pay..yeah, about that..

To all those who are interested in being hired at RAH because of the sudden pay raise, please be forewarned. On March 19th, the National Mediation Board (NMB) will be meeting with the company and union to discuss contract negotiations...and....this unauthorized pay adjustment. This adjustment was done outside the prescribed NMB procedure and can be easily be revoked or overturned.

Its only a trick to try and fill classes.

Once RAH is agreed to a new contract and real pay rates are established, then your 1st year pay will be dependable.

Yah they are. Keep the pay low and the QOL not great for long enough pilots dry up.

Their own fault. Good for us though...... hopefully

By doing this, RAH managment has pretty much quarenteed that first year FO pay will start at atleast $30 an hour, with the new contract. If I were the MEC, I would run with it.

i hope so too....but until its in contractual writing, its just in the RAH imagination.

This pay could go away next week and not return for months. If you risk it and come here for the false $30 pay, and the pilot group strikes...you'll wish you hadn't fallen for the trick.

Yes and yes. Of course we want a raise, but it must be in the form of an agreed contract and not some invented numbers by management. They're trying to avoid correcting all the other shortcomings of the old contract and just bump pay.
