Just waiting for when one of these numbnutz with a camera smacks something and it comes out they were making videos and not flying the airplane. Check me if I'm wrong, but installing this type of device inside the cockpit is not only stupid but against most airlines' operating rules. Plus, making videos under 10,000 feet where cockpits are to be sterile also violates FAA rules. I'm not a buzz kill, but after Colgan's debacle with 3407, can any of you guys really want to risk being the next, Captain "I'm tugging off all the power and decelerating until I stall it in to show off for this chick FO"?

Because I'm sure you've never ever snapped a photo of something under 10k

As long as the camera is mounted and the pilots don't have to touch it, the cockpit is still sterile. However, I believe there are FARs about mounting equipment in the airplane.

In addition to the prohibition of the use of electronic devices below 10k

Ding ding ding!!!

If you're going to do something potentially stupid don't broadcast it to the world.

If you just HAVE to make something like this be sure to keep it in your personal HD movie file on your computer... Just a thought.
