would it just be easier to buy pinn/cjc straight out then they could do what they want w the planes, get their 70 mil back in pocket, and cure some pilot staffing all at once?

I can't see them having a problem staffing. If people are still willing to work at silver and lakes for poverty wages I think they'll be fine.

There are no indications that a flow-through agreement is imminent through Pinnacle, ALPA or Delta management.

When there are no indications, that's when you should expect it. That seems to be Delta's way. From a union member yesterday, something BIG is being talked about. Due to the NDA they couldn't say anything else, including whether it's good or bad. So are we merging with someone, Delta buying us, or Chapter 7? Who knows.

If Delta buys us, run for the hills. We have way too many 50 seaters and if we are bought by Delta we will be looking at Comair round 2.

A flow through is actually a bad thing unless you are in the top 100 or so, you have to wait forever for your number to get called. Its better to get hired through an interview.

Bingo.

I'll agree with with the previous posters sentiment on if DL does buy 9E... that will be no fun for anyone.

I love when union members say something big is coming, the only thing big thats coming is the turd of a bankruptcy contract we are going to get.

Wouldn't something "Big" have been seen in the Delta TA? I don't think that something so big could / would be happening outside of the TA....right? Wouldn't there be some legal implications of making a large move without some disclosure, signed contracts?

Please shed some light, thanks.
