I am doing some research on the Saab 340B and need some hard numbers from the manual. Can anyone help? 500 NM Leg-- 1) Fuel Burn 2) Flight Time (No Wind) 3) BFL, Hot & High (5000' 30C MTOW) Thanks a million! Call it 2 hours and 2500 pounds burned. Do those big name universities ever assign students a "build an airline" Projects? Unless I missed the fact that hes seriously looking to start the next Colgan.

I think Juice's numbers are way off. 500nm leg? 1) Fuel Burn = 8200 deciliters 2) Flight Time (No Wind) = 39 mins 3) BFL, Hot & High (5000' 30C MTOW) = 10,000 feet, assuming dry pavement and it's not a weekday. /sarcasm |

It seems that it would be logical to conclude that a forum full of starving airline pilots with easy access to this information would be a good place to save some money on this info. Hahaha I remember when I flew the Saab. Weight restricted, always hot, yet five times more fun than the q400 to fly. God I miss it

Saab Aircraft Leasing Look where it says 500nm leg and read your answers. Not sure why everyone is giving you a hard time, its not like your asking for top secret stuff here. Anyway, feel free to PM if you need anything else. |
