Beg to differ, for my commute tomorrow, MCO-IAH flt 1026 (6/17/12) an EXPRESSJET pilot is listed as a SA5X and then listed AGAIN as a SK (Cockpit jumpseater). My friend in MCO ops looked it up and showed this pilot listed ONLINE for the jumpseat and CHECKED IN via ONLINE.

So obviously there is still a way for XJET pilots to still list and check in online that the rest of the "United Express" can't do....

No, there isn't a way. It was turned off for us 2 years ago. This pilot has some kind of other angle (Management Pilot) he's working or he' being rolled over from the night before. Yes, an SK listing can be rolled. As said earlier, it is impossible to list an SK more than 2 hours prior to the original flight, the system will not allow it. I wouldn't be shocked if they preserve online listings for Management, but definitely not for average XJT line pilot guy.

Depends on the gate agent. Some agents ask, while others don't. Always good to have it handy.
