I dislike Boyd's writing very much also, but he's been right about RJs for a long time. It was really pointing out the obvious, but as in most bubbles, the "experts" chose to believe the emperor really did have clothes on.

I notice Boyd had a lot more to say about the regionals being in deep doodoo than giving any particular advice about what they should do about it.

I wonder why he always forgets to mention that most 50 seat jets are still in the market because of scope?

It might be because that is the only FACTUAL information on the 50 seat market!
