Default DL Flowup for RAH?

Under the title of looking out for your AFL-CIO Brotherhood, did the all Powerful and all knowing IBT get any flow-up for IBT Pilots?

flow-up for IBT Pilots?
From Section 1- Scope:

the Company will fill a minimum of 35% of the
aggregate of all positions in Delta pilot new-hire classes in each trailing twelve month period (to the extent airmen are available) with ALPA-represented airmen at Delta Connection Carriers, subject to such airmen meeting the Company’s competitive hiring standards, and subject to the Company’s objectives for diversity and experience among newly hired pilots. Airmen who flow up pursuant to LOA #24 and LOA #25 count toward satisfaction of such minimum percentage.
j. The Company will offer preferential interviews for employment to airmen employed
by carriers (whose airmen were represented by the Association) at the time those
carriers ceased operations, subject to the Company’s objectives for diversity and
experience among newly hired pilots and subject to Section 1 B. 40. fi.
This had nothing to do with RAH or the IBT. This was negotiated by DAL management and the DAL negotiating committee.

Sadly, they'll be the one to get all these 70-76 seaters, so they'll take forever to realize it's not good to get more RJ'S at the regionals.

LOL! You're living in a dreamland if you think this ALPA flowthrough is gonna work for all as advertised! More likely, those poor "blojet" guys will get hired at Delta off the street quicker than you'll flow. Ask Eagle guys how the 2 for 1 Eagle pilots in AA newhire classes flow worked out for them.

ALPA at Delta just sold you out, but they'll tell you it's for the greater good and that they are protecting all pilot jobs. Will make the pill a little easier to swallow when all the 50 seater ALPA RJ pilots are furloughed and thrown to the streets with as a result of an ALPA-agreed TA. Serving two masters at once, both majors and regionals? Don't get me wrong, it's great and about time Delta takes the flying back and will now fly CRJ-200 routes in a 717. That is good news. But the same representation group, ALPA, is also suppose to represent the regional interest. One cannot grow without negatively impacting the other!

So DAL is going to fly 40 people fromATL to CHA, CSG, MGM, TRI, AGS, and VLD in a 717? Seems pretty inefficient......

I do not think they will get these planes. I think these will go to all the operators who fly 200's so that they can trade them in for something like a 2 for 1.

Cut the frequency in half and there is your efficiency.

Too bad I'm leaving this ****-poor run company for a non-union airline. Doesn't affect me either way.
