What are the chances of Delta forcing Pinnacle to aquire Comair? I was jumpseating with a DH'ing with a OH crew member the other day and they thought that was a likely (albeit, sickening) possibility. Sounds like the OH guys are going to be taking paycuts which would provide another ideal regional whip-saw scenario for Delta.

 

When I was OH, there was a new rumor like that every week but never panned out. Things are so bad at OH people just make up rumors like that so that they have a reason to come to work. And if they were merged with PNCL they wouldn't just magically start flying under PNCL contract. Here's all the rumors I heard in my 7 yr prison term at OH.

1. VA was going to buy us so they could start up faster
2. JB was going to buy us and merge us cause they needed to?
3. Merged with DL, DOH!!!!
4. Fly for United
5. Growth
6. Get 170's
7. Once NWA and DL merge we will merge with PNCL, most were clueless that NWA didn't own PNCL
8. We were going to merge with Mesaba
9. We were going to merge with Compass
10. JC was a stand up guy, that looked out for the pilot group and not himself!!!!
11. We were going to fly west of the Mississippi
