Besides all the hiring, there's another upgrade class in July.

Educate yourself. Nothing belongs too you unless you have a title, deed, or scope, ect. that is legally enforceable and a judge says it is yours.

I agree that Hulas is an *-hole approaching the size of Lorenzo in the regional world, however, those of you who spew misdirected/uneducated hate are just showing your ignorance.
Speaking of education, care to share with us the definition of an alter-ego?

How about existing collective bargaining agreement?

Let me know, if you can objectively answer those questions, cause no one is forgetting how gojets was founded.

It's NOT a "jets for jobs" nor a flow back program. As johnson29 alluded to, during a concession round at UAL during the BK, UALALPA negotiated a pref interview program with UAX carriers that are hiring. The furloughed UAL pilot would be paid by the carrier at the carrier's respective year one rate, UALALPA subsidizes that so the furloughed UAL pilot gets year 2 rate at that carrier's scale. Isn't that awesome? UAL furloughs pilots, their MEC helps them get jobs at the places they voted to have them outsourced to, at about half what they'd make at UAL.

Since G7 has had an overall quicker upgrade time relative to most, if not all UAX carriers, some furloughed UAL pilots go to G7 so as to get on a bigger paycheck (relative term) sooner. G7 has ALSO hired pilots from other airlines/companies that furloughed or went tits up. ATA, ABEX, Flexjet, COMAIR, whatever do to their time and the ability to upgrade quicker than a G7 newhire with lower flight time, or doesn't come anywhere near the time required per the company to upgrade to captain.

And for the record, Pinnacle when through a similar situation back in the late 2004/2005 timeframe.

Well, if there is a class IN july, I wonder if those new hires educated themselves on G7 BEFORE accepting a job there? For all THE posters of this thread, you better LOCK your doors before Whale shows up!

I usually avoid these threads because I dont have anything to do with gojet or tsa, however, I had a question. I know several people that have left tsa and went to gojet, how do you tsa people feel about that? Do you deny your old co workers the jumpseat and ignore them in passing in the terminal? That's actually meant to be a serious question. Must make for an awkward situation if thats the case.

Add the "Free Candy" label to the side of that plane, Roger Cohen jumping and clicking his heels on the background, and you got a winner!

That's their prerogative. I'm not going to suddenly hate guys I used to work with. But I'm also probably not going to call them up and be like, "Hey buddy! How's GoJet going? Are you a captain yet? Man, you're so smart for making that move..." in 2012, followed by this facial expression:

Especially not when one of them, who I thought was a friend, posts bull$hit like this on my Wall (in response to my recall to Trans States):

Never should have gone back man! Major mistake! Hope you like reserve. Tracy is your new best friend. Enjoy!
It's never been my jumpseat to deny to anyone, so I can't answer that one. I have seen airplanes get weight restricted real fast though, leaving no room for a GoJetter. But again, each captain is different.

Will I ignore them IRL? No, of course not. I will be happy to commiserate with them
