He actually didn't state it was in Cincy. I just assumed it was, but the "Fed" was from their certificate holding office...Who knows what to believe? I HOPE it isn't true though, I have friends there and don't want to see anymore families hurt by all this turmoil. One of my friends has been there since 1988...

Problem with this is that Republic doesn't operate CRJs, only ERJs. They would have to start up a whole new training program.
OH shutdown = 28 700s/900s go to Skywest for 2 for 1ish. Skywest now doesn't own a 200 under Delta Colors.
Now who wins the extra 70 seaters is up to the cheapest bidder.

No. How they accomplish it is totally up to management. All the union is concerned about is that the aircraft limits are kept. Also, don't forget about the block hour ratio either. That further restricts how much actual flying the airplanes can do.

Do the block hour limits apply to just RJs in general, or are they specific to type, such as CRJ 200/700 /900?
DL could simply not fly the 125 CR2s and fly the crap out of the remaining CR7/9s. I don't think 10 or 12 hours of daily utilization would be unheard of.
