They're in the process of getting everything approved right now as far as I know. The 2012 date is still the target unless something has changed and they haven't made it public yet.

I doubt it will ever get off paper.

Would be nice to be based closer to home. Not holding my breath though.

+1.

Did anyone receive any kind of confirmation or response after emailing in a cover and resume?

Not me hence the reason for the post.I sent them one in April and forgot I had. If they are going to be flying before March 2012 they will need to start getting some lifesigns present ie: hiring SOC staff, building a pilot team.

According to their facebook account, the latest word on pilot recruitment is this fall/winter. Not much time left between now and Spring 2012 to get it off the ground, but heres to hoping. I'd love to be based at home, I truly hope this airline is a success. They seem to already have a solid following in San Diego so who knows.

About once a week I check their website, facebook, and twitter feed to find any new info. I'd love to work there and drive 30 min to the airport, instead of a 3.5 hour commute. I've got my fingers crossed.

You guys know there are other airlines out west? Skywest, Eagle, Horizon, what's stopping you from going there now instead of waiting for some start up with 3 planes?

etflies 08-25-2011 06:21 PM

Home base, home every night, not "just another regional" that we know of, guaranteed West coast base rather than spending who knows how long in the midwest or on the east coast waiting until you can hold a west coast base (except Horizon I guess but even then they're up in the Pacific NW).
