Nope, not trying to justify anything...I am happy where I am at right now. I was just saying the pilot in the video looked happy.

So PW's latest and greatest is mile high club charters! One of there airplanes was in HNL a week or two back doing a photo session for this. Worked there for a year and never realized how bad it really was until I left. No schedules until the night before, checking passengers in, loading bags, treated like you are scum of the earth. The chief pilot recently threw two pilots under the bus to the FSDO for duty time violations. Not something a chief pilot should do, especially when he's the reason it happened. You either work what they tell you or you will be fired.

Left there 2 months back. Just this week one of the SIC's jump seated back to the mainland and quit when he got there. The DO, who I'm sure you've all heard stories of, called him threatening court action and when the pilot talked back to him telling him why he did it and what the company issues were the DO's response was telling the pilot that he should start his own airline called morals air, due to him quitting under contract. The DO is an idiot. Couldn't pay me enough to go back there.

I guess I get to be the Richard of APC, but why oh why do people still go to PW? At least "certain other operators" seem to have a few defenders, but not PW.

Maybe that little eek guy needs to be their logo/mascot guy; "Pacific Wings-AHHHHHH!! "

With this "pilot shortage" going on, is PW even having a hard time getting new recruits?

I know this pilot as well, and I saw the email exchange between him and the company. UnbeFRIGGINlievable is an understatement. The sheer lack of professionalism and idiocy that the DO displays is astounding. Said pilot was also threatened with the notion that the carrier that he jumpseated on would seek full-fare reimbursement (total bs).

I don't even have words for how awful PW is and I've never worked there.

As long ad people can get out of CFI'ing and log turbine time people will continue to flow through there. I do not regret going there to build my time. Came quicker than CFI'ing and I was logging PIC turbine time at 700 hours. I just wouldn't ever go back

Foul? That doesn't even begin to describe him. Only pushed off a cliff? That seems like the easy way out. I cant wait for PW to go out of business. That man has burned so many bridges he will be done in avaiation. In Georgia they had to planes down for maintenance and GK tried to go take them from the maintenance shop in Athens the owner wouldn't give GK the airplanes because PW owed him tens of thousands of dollars. GK called the police over it. The police told GK to pay them if he wanted the airplanes back. That man has got the right hand seat of the devil himself reserved.

I once was taxiing the 208 with captains window open. I was told that it was unprofessional and behavior like that would not be tolerated. Really!? He is talking about unprofessionalism? If anyone wants more stories feel free to PM me.
