I second never letting anyone I know fly on them. After the new "maintenance" procedures in place they are a big no no.
I would stay away from them too. The sad part is that a lot of really good pilots go through them and don't deserve the way they get treated. Management also thinks the pilots here have it good and should be thankful to be employed by such a great company like pacific wings. It's almost a badge of honor in the aviation field to get fired by PW or break contract. Means you are doing something right. If you need help in the lawsuit I can be a witness. Maybe I could go after them too ;) |
Since I at one point *was* considering applying to PW (until I read this thread, but more importantly heard some horror stories from a couple of friends that have flown there), I'd be interested in hearing some more about the atrocity that is Pacific Wings. Either in the public forum here since it would be good for any lurkers to see, or via PM.

As someone who was hired and did a lot of research on them, I can tell you I am glad I did not take that class date. I have met several people on the road who have flown for them and it was enough to convince me that the stories are true.

is it true that all the pilots fired by PW are done career wise i was told they fired more than 900 pilots since 2005
