There are no JS in the cabin on any Eagle airplane. Maybe he ****ed one of the island ladies off, man!

I am sorry that this happened, you should have been able to get a seat in the back but some people are concerned about the taxes and stuff like that.

Did just that, and Captain shrugged his shoulders and was able to do nothing with the agent. I've been JSing for over twenty years now and getting the Captain involved was my initial action.

When you fly with Eagle or any other carrier on the "JS" you are automatically put in the back if it's an International flight. So, technically, the JS in in the cabin on these flights.

If there are seats available in the cabin, then more than one pilot looking for the cockpit JS can "Flow Through" to a seat in the back.

I'm guessing you do not fly for a major carrier if you don't know what "flow through" means when jump seating

I'm going to have to chime in and say that I've also been doing this for years and years and I wouldn't know what you were talking about if you said "flow through" jumpseating. Of course, its abundantly clear when you explain what you're talking about, but the term... nope, never heard it. And thats me speaking as an american pilot. Foreign gate agent? Good luck.

Confused. What does someone's seniority have to do with an Eagle jumpseat when that person works for another airline?

No, not an Island term. But it's just what is said at Delta when multiple pilots want the JS. They "flow through" the cockpit to a seat in the cabin. The term isn't as relevant as having a JS reservation and getting bumped off the plane by a Flight Attendant or anyone else for that matter when seats are available. Sorry the "flow through" term is causing such an issue. Let's call it "getting a seat in the back" from here out then.
