Buddy just texted me about a rumor of an ASA CRJ200 base for AA flying. Anyone else heard this?

No. But I did hear a rumor about AMR buying used CRJ200's.

Nope it's only closing as a NA base. It's going to be revamped via cape air. Heard it here first.
