I was told from someone I would tend to believe outside of Eagle but works with Canadair that we are getting airplanes from them before years end, for AMR EAGLE. Something like 9 to start and a larger order that will delivery monthly for a few years.

I've heard anywhere between 10-19 by years end then more to follow.

The CRJ's will be a good fit for the former Eagle. Common type between the 700 and 900 and they're geared up for them already plus no pay increases for the additional revenue brought in by the 900. I think the E-jets will fit in better with a carrier to be named later, soon to be under the American Eagle brand.

Many of the smaller E's will stay, but once up and running, the larger E's going elsewhere will result in the smaller E's leaving the former Eagle in larger numbers then the larger ones arrive at the player to be named later. It will all balance out over time.

Whats the effect on AA. I heard from someone that these 777-300s require like 40 pilots per airplane, due to bunkys, rigs, and stage lengths. Any shot in hell with attrition and retirements you guys could hire in the next 3 years?? IF AA stands alone, that may cause enough attrition to offset the close future loss of the 135/140s and long term loss of the 145s closer to 2015.

No, I didn't, I am going back Nov. 13th.
Just found it interesting that they (Eagle) are hiring.

due to scope relief 125 new feed airplanes are coming to AA, and so far besides the ATRs none are yet leaving, thus its not a surprise we are hiring as some of this may happen quickly. I will not be surprised if we get planes now before we start losing the 50 seats with less than 50 seats. However long term, it is fairly logical to think we will end up smaller than we are now.

also congrats man, bet your glad to start flying a plane and not a chair, now one list and back to flying a plane made in Europe. Are you getting the Boeing to start?

Does anyone remember how to move their displacement preferences?

I don't have FM1 in front of me right now.

Thanks for the help.
