By 2015? Why not? Delta has to have them gone anyway, and 9E just agreed to a 1:3.5 park job. They won't get that from any of the other DCI carriers. This is assuming the TA passes. I could see a lot of guys with nothing to lose voting "no" just because.

So these 40 900s are or aren't the ones that Delta just purchased?

Ok, let me get this straight. Pinnacle now has 2,300 pilots and will reduce to 800 pilots "IF" this TA passes?

So if 1,500 pilots are losing their job, why would they want to vote YES to a concessionary TA? Wouldn't you just vote no, and not let the industry average be brought down for your next job?

Pretty sure the spin will be that it gives them longer to find another gig. Honestly, if I were still there, I'd nuke it from orbit. Notice they haven't said if MEM will close or not. MOST of the old skool 9E guys that would still be employed after this are MEM guys.

All of the language hasn't been released yet. The email did mention cost savings while preserving a future for Pinnacle pilots. Plus senior DL mgt was present during these negotiations. I don't think Wychor would try to sell voting in concessions and a massive shrink down if there wasn't some upside for us. As mentioned, the drawdown will be gradual into 2015. Lets wait and see what the final language says. That's my plan anyway.

I don't think "senior Delta management" being there is necessarily a good thing for 9E. They're trying to adhere to the mainline TA the cheapest way possible. They have to park 50 seaters, and this is a HUGE opportunity for them. If you're holding out hope for a flow through, I wouldn't hold my breathe. They've already said pretty much nil on the 2013 hiring. That pretty much gives close to 2000 guys a year to scramble up the ladder. The top few guys might make it before they hit the streets, but most will either be elsewhere or out altogether by the time the mass exodus starts.

Looks like TW and his super senior buddies managed to throw 60% of your pilots under the bus after all.

If you guys approve a grossly concessionary contract to "save your jobs for a few months" don't come to us looking for recommendations when you finally get cut off. I'd rather recommend a GoJetZZZZ pilot.

I'm not holding out for it, but I just think there has to be more to this "agreement" than has been mentioned thus far. There is no upside to us voting for paycuts and losing the majority of our fleet and jobs. I certainly could be wrong. I'm just saying I personally will wait and see the final language before I jump out the window.

Not constructive at all Tony.
