And NO, being around since 2007 isn't long enough.

This. I'd really, really be surprised if something like that took place. It's not like DAL doesn't have their pick of pilots. They can be very selective and choose whomever they want without having to staple anyone.

The best majors, and Delta is in that group, will never have problems recruiting pilots.

Besides, any flow through agreement usually includes a flow-back, which rarely benefits the RJ pilots.

Thats what those guys hope for but it won't happen. That was the carrot that got them to vote yes.

Nope it was the "transition payment" AKA signing bribe that got most of the yes votes.

I am taking my bribe money and walking away. It will look like the Batman scene where the hospital is blowing up and the Joker is walking away. I want out of the DCI soap opera.

Dangle a carrot? 9E voted this in at 85%... They needed to dangle nothing...

Just curious how long is long enough? I am not sure what the magic date is so I would like to know when I have become a real airline pilot and have a valid opinion? The captains always told me, when hired in 2007, that you are not a real airline pilot until you have been through a merger, Bankruptcy and furloughed. So I am guessing once I am furloughed in about a year then I am a real Pilot. I cant wait!!!!!

Those who do listen to 2007 hires, I do not believe we will be stapled that would make no sense to cut costs only to bring on to a Delta list. I have little faith in the SSP, however I will at least give it a small chance before I totally write it off.

As an aside to the more important topic at hand, they told me that you need a divorce as well as the above :D
