Lynx -Denver

Does anyone have a website for Lynx? Frontier website did not have anything on it... Any hiring info would be great.

Don't bother. Reliable rumors are $18/hr for FOs and $40 for CAPTs and no union. It isn't worth your time. I make more flying a 1900. How sad is that?

Isnt that how much MESA guys get paid flying the CRJ-900's hehe

wildcat1 11-22-2006 08:37 AM

MESA makes that much? :D

Cardinal 11-22-2006 04:36 PM

I heard $55/hr, but who knows.

JoeyMeatballs 11-22-2006 04:44 PM

Thats only if MESA was to get 787's then that would be their CA pay hehehe

is this the airline that frontier plans to fly into smaller communities around denver. I've heard in the news some small North Dakota communities are up for it?.

Beware of Lynx.

1.The Q400 is a maintenance disaster.
2.Frontier mainline pilots are very upset about this new operation (some of them consider it to be the next GoJets).
3. Rock bottom pay and benefits.
4. Frontier has zero experience with this type of operation and the Q400.

Some also refuse to believe we landed on the moon. They've had a decade to get their house in order when it comes to scope clauses. They have seen 10 CR7s parked at the other end of the concourse, in their colors, for years! Now a bloody Trash-8 has them up in arms? Nod courteously to the RJ Captain (with Frontier on the side) but spit on the Prop FO (with Frontier on the side)? At least in this case the profits stay internal. If they'd like to haggle a turboprop scale with management and keep it in house, that'd be great. Better, even, because I'm humble enough to fly a prop, but would net a seniority number at mainline. But seeing as FAPA hasn't sacked-up to get it done, what are the options? You can't be above flying a turboprop AND be bitter that pilots on your list aren't flying it. Pick one or the other.

You are missing the point here. It is about how the company was formed (via a holding company) not the type of equipment. The Lynx operation will be the next step in lowering the bar at regionals.

Why would flying a turboprop make you humble? Just what is wrong with flying a Dash-8? Do you have a case of SJS?
