The CFI's are under a work group called Pipeline Instructor. They do not have CASS privileges as they are not 121 pilots yet. When they reach ATP mins and move work groups to AE pilot, then they will have CASS access. Relax.
They do have the same travel privileges as any other AMR employee (i.e. D2's, D1's) but do not have jump seat access.
Personally I think it is great they are trying so hard to get people on. The recruiter I talked to today said the response has been huge.
