I tried it twice today out of uniform, they hassled me in MSP until I put it in a baggie, and PHL, well I interupted a conversation and I'm not sure anyone even checked my id, much less the liquids.

Had to step behind the curtain and pull a superman quick-change in Wichita today to get my stuff back....I was pretty ****ed that it made a difference since I had every bag tagged as crew with my ID around my neck.

A TSA lady tried to take my KY Jelly recently while not in uniform. I winked at her, flashed my ID and said: "You wouldn't deny calcapt, the famous airline captain pimp, his working gel would you? She smiled and placed it back in my bag and asked how she too could join the posse. No really, it's true.
Actually, if you go through the "special line", while in or out of uniform, there are never ANY questions about what's in your bag. You can get a permission slip to go through the special line in Artesia, NM.

I sure hope it was the new warming liquid solution

Traveling through DSM this fall. I threw on a white shirt and blue tie with my leather coat. They said it wasn't standard uniform and that my ID wasn't enough. THey took my cologn, hair spray, inhailer, just about everything I NEEDED.
