Someone who doesn't work at Pinnacle anymore and is still butt hurt that things didn't go his way

There had always been "progress" even in the time under amendable date of the contract. Problem is you non-union Colgan pilots were specifically bought to be the non-union growth machine. You didn't complain because you had fast growth/movement in both seats. Then you voted in ALPA. Then the JCBA negotiations started. Progress? There's always "progress." While I may not be for the old reps, them taking a stand is worthy, so I was for their picketing events. The bottom line is in the 9E time of pilot need, your group deserted them. It doesn't matter if the 9L MEC told you to do it, you could have still shown up in person and stood in support. Now you fly these jets with the rest of the 9E group after your props went away (something that could never happen, right?). Some unity you showed! You'll do what best serves you, not the 9E pilot group.

A few things.

1. They aren't "my props". (And I never said they wouldn't go away.)
2. The irony of you telling me "You'll do what best serves you, not the 9E pilot group", is blowing my mind. The 9E pilot group encompasses more than just pre-merger 9E pilots.
3. You are very shallow minded to keep on this rant about 9L disappearing. So are all the ATL 900s and 200s. So did the XJ Saabs. Fleets change, mergers happen, deal with it. It's part of the business.

NOW it does, once again, your props were gone. As for XJ, they too are 9E now but at least they brought the -900s that will stick around

Count again how many Colgan props are already gone (all). Then count how many 9E jets are already gone (maybe all the ATL), but the -200s are still there. Over time, they are suppose to go away, but in the mean time, they are here. Nothing changes the fact that you turned your back on the 9E pilot group back when there was a Colgan.

It doesn't matter how Colgan/Mesaba slices it. Do-not-sell-unity around. You guys have too many 9E-slaps on your records.

I'm not getting into whether your actions were justified or not, or whether you did right or wrong.

Just don't preach unity.

Yes, I do believe unity is the way to go. But unfortunately, all 3 pilot groups clearly decided not to go that way early on.

Shy i try not to bash you because I do not know you.(And I try not to bash anyone) But bringing up how Colgan was a "non-union growth machine" isnt that what Virgin is? They are non union and are growing because they can undercut mainline. I know you like to say do not compare VA to DAL or other legacy's you can only compare to Spirit and Jet Blue. But In my opinion you have to compare all planes that fly it to the same base. They are all competing for the same PAX. You can't tell me Delta only fly's business travellers. I am pretty sure Business travellers do not travel in flip flops and i see a ton of those all the time.

You do this far too often. You write something (probably over emotional) and then you take it back so by the time I see it, it just says "deleted." Get your train of thought down properly and stand by what you say.

It's still an entirely different scenario. Remember, Pinnacle Corp owned 9E and then bought Colgan. They used the NWA convertible note of $191 million to secure Colgan (20 million) and the new Qs for delivery. All the while telling 9E pilots they were too expensive and the ALPA contract demand would bankrupt the company. 9E downgraded and displaced pilots while Colgan (non-union) grew tremendously, much more than they could handle - as mentioned by line pilots in 'Flying Cheap' on PBS. The only way your analogy would work is if Delta Corp owned both Delta airlines and Virgin America, and then announced that Virgin would be getting the 100 new Boeing 737NGs and Delta would be parking the older A320s and 757s. Then it would be the same scenario. But it's not.
