Really? Coming from a Go Jetter?

Get over it, you are a part of this industry just like everyone else. If you didn't sign up to fly an RJ for whatever measly salary you make then some pilot at a Major would be flying a DC 9 or equivalent airplane for $120 an hour. If you want to assign blame look in the mirror.

If our merger committee had said "DOH" 80% of the group would still complain. If they had proposed a staple of Colgan there would be complaints. They get accused of fighting to hard, but had they not, they would be accused of not trying Which is it?????

Let me clarify, fighting FAIR hard. Colgan's proposal helped every colgan pilot on property - relative. 9E wanted to put their jet CAs in a top category and the FOs below, which is an over reach an overkill when you consider the staple job for Colgan and half of Mesaba. There's a difference between fighting hard smart and fair, and fighting hard stupidly. 9E committee did the latter. I guess it was to be expected when 2/3 of them were gonna be lifers.

Shoulda held the line. ATP rule, new rest rules, right when things are starting to turn around, 9E takes concessions. The rest of the DCI regionals will be screwed when Delta comes and says hey Pinnacle can do it cheaper.

Where's the unity? The ALPA brotherhood? Or, is it like I've said all along, just a bunch of feel-good BS, that no ALPA is going to look out for you and nor do pilots look out for others. It is all 100% self-serving interests! No one will care when you get unemployed. ALPA is a joke. Aloha guys, MidEx guys, they got more help from the government unemployment line than ALPA resources to try and get them jobs at other ALPA carriers. When will the regionals realize that ALPA cannot serve them while serving mainline at the same time. Your growth impedes the major airline pilot jobs! And it's in their best interest to screw you, park your planes, and take back their outsourced flying. ALPa cannot represen the BEST interests for BOTH regionals and majors. Their well-being specifically comes at the cost of the other.

No FO should have voted for that garbage. So what, preserve a 4th year cap at 37/hr? You an make more at Skywest and pocket an extra 1.95% salary with no ALPA. Hell, you can make more as a McDonalds manager and be home every night. And how ironic. The highest paying, and arguably happiest regional pilot group is non-union Skywest. They figured it out a long time ago.
