Because USair has a quicker upgrade time than 9E.

Isn't the current most junior A320 CA over there a 1988 DOH? I did read that the E190 went down to a Feb '12 DOH, and that's impressive. However, why did it go junior? It must be the pay/schedule/reserve that must be so bad that senior FOs would forego the upgrade opportunity.

You guys are so defensive because you know it's true.

No we just do not really need another pilot telling us how we should have voted and says thank you for making me take a pay cut in the future. If you do not wish to take the pay cut that vote no and if it passes thank your fellow pilots at your airline and then quit. But I know once you are faced with the choice of pay cut or no job you will blame it on 9E pilots. Even though we were forced to take a pay cut because of other cheap airlines and they were forced because of the same crap. Thinks are not really peachy over here so we really do not want to hear someone spout off about how we have ruined your pay. We are also irritated with ShyGuy having at least 2 or 3 posts per page in every 9E thread.

No one has been furloughed, so everyone still has their job. Your point is invalid.

Why does this even bother you anymore?

Gotta agree. If you are gonna come on here and slam another pilot group, at least take the corny " I am a cool airline pilot" blog signature out before posting. It just makes you look like an airplane nerd.

Truth is, would it really be a positive thing for the industry to have 2,500 furloughed pilots on the street looking for and taking jobs at first year FO pay at another regional? Talk about a major shift backwards in longevity and a massive windfall for mainline management. Time to re-evaluate what would have really been "good" for the industry. I was willing to call Delta's bluff, but many weren't in a place to take that chance on rolling the dice with their careers.
