Default Joint ASA/XJT MEC meeting

There is a joint ASA/XJT MEC meeting this week and SOME of the ASA MEC members are considering giving into XJT's Smart Pref PBS scheme. If you don't want an untried, globalized PBS system, you need to call your reps.

Why are they caving in after all the chest thumping? Or are they saying they will take SmartPref but no dual qual? I am sure a lot of people do not want to go the dual qual route.

Both systems have their pros and cons. Flip a coin and choose one. The sooner we move forward the better

I thought they had already agreed on a tentative protocol agreement? Something to the effect that the end game is a pilot vote.

I called the reps. They think they have a deal that keeps FlightLine. Thank god.

I say we agree to "Smart"Pref (but use Flightline until its ready) and call their bluff. When the company finds out its going to take years and millions of dollars to get "Smart"Pref ready for prime time, they will pull the plug.

Flightline without vacation low and entirely new work rules is ready for "prime time"... ? I don't really care which software we work under because the work rules are 10 times more important and that needs to be where we are focusing.

As long as the min credit window is allowed to be 65-70 credit during your vacation month Flightline will still do a decent job extending vacation without vacation low

Under flightline are you able to drop your schedule down to 60 hours per month?
