It's got autothrottles, guys! They are superior pilots over at brickyard. We all know this.. They arrive in IND for groundschool in limos and get treated to a red carpet entry at the training center. You haven't heard? THEY ARE ELITE.

Funny how at US Airways Express Republic is viewed as superior. DCI Compass is and I am sure Shuttle/ soon to be Skywest is for UAX. Everyone I have talked to who flies one doesn't have any complex BUT lets be honest if everything was the same pay wise etc. people would bid the 175 all day long. It's just a nice airplane compared to others. Sooo..... You jelly Brah?

That thing is so shiny, I'm sure guys would line up to fly it for free. May as well, Republic pilots already practically do. By the way, how's that new contract coming along? I hear its just gonna be any day now.

Honest question....not trolling..... Has anyone actually met a 175 pilot that acted superior because of this thing? I know I certainly haven't. I'm not sure where all of the superiority complex talk started.

That's not true. If all planes were equal pay wise I would bid the one that let me live in base or gave me the best seniority. In fact, pay is the only reason I would probably ever bid the 175. If pay were equal then I'd weigh all the other factors like bases, seniority, how good the trips are, etc.

Type of airplane wouldn't even enter my equation. I'd take a king air if it paid the same as a 175, had better trips and let me live in base.

Who cares what kind of airplane you fly if you're paid well and live in base getting good trips?
