And CRJ 200 pilots would rip on his paycheck for being too small.

For many E-145 pilots, that thing is a widebody A-380.......under wing engines, slats and sitting way up there. The thought of flying it is almost orgasmic. Having ridden in both the back and jumpseat, it's still an RJ, although the back is better than smaller Embraers and CRJ's. The jumpseat is murder. The pay and working conditions of the pilots I've ridden with we're abysmal and virtually all of them talked about their next move out of it. The fun and glamour of a new plane wears off quickly and sooner or later, you're left with pay and working conditions........usually sooner. L-Eagle may get these or more likely CRJ-900's, but considering the future pay and heinous PBS parameters, flying them for 20-25% less then present pay and being jerked all over the place scheduling wise makes for a depressing final stop to ones career, especially if you're in your golden years (50's) and what was supposed to have been your most financially profitable turns out to be the years way behind you.

Not enough shine on ANY jet for that if you ask me.

CRJ200's blow. Have you ever seen a smokin hot girl get on one of those pieces of **** and say "awesome! I love this plane, it's so spacious!" The fact is that no pax is impressed with your piece of **** little plane, they don't care about your trips, QOL, etc. Everyone hates it.

Will these new planes have the mod that makes the pilots voices deeper and their call signs unreadable?

Let me get this straight, you are ripping on a pilot group that turned down a company offer which included higher pay rates than yours because they said it wasn't enough? The same group that overwhelmingly voted to strike to make things better? Republic pilots are trying to get things fixed and right now the Captains get paid just about the same as Eagle's rates and top out higher. Its just the FO pay and work rules that are abysmal. Guess what? The RAH pilot group has no control over the actions of the NMB.

I realize you're upset that your company isn't getting these planes but the pilot group at Republic had no control over this. In fact, a lot of guys would rather see a new contract than new airplanes. A large percentage of the pilot group at RAH are now on their second airline (including Eagle, Comair, Pinnacle/Colgan, Airways [Mid-Atlantic] and Midwest) so this isn't their first rodeo when it comes to whipsaw. Its easy to hate RAH but remember there is a difference between the pilot group and the management.

Type of airplane wouldn't even enter my equation. I'd take a king air if it paid the same as a 175, had better trips and let me live in base.

Who cares what kind of airplane you fly if you're paid well and live in base getting good trips?
The etc. meant everything equal. Base, QOL. We all know the stuff your spouting off, doesn't change the fact that the CRJ200 is a Turd rocket. ( nothing to do with size)

Its not the size that counts, its how you use it... wait what are we talking about again?

Obviously AMR management has pulled a fast one on you guys. They have signed a CPA with a Brazilian airline to be the new American Eagle. The proof is the Brazilian registration on the first jet.
