Actually, based on more experience that you have, that's not true, except perhaps in Russia. Corporate F/As are usually very good, professional and middle-aged. Ours are mostly over 50.

And, yes, 100K is not out if th box.

And this has nothing to do with the value of the employee or what they provide for the company. It has to do with the fact that pilots will do anything to be pilots. Even if that means doing it for a pathetic compensation. FA's have no tie to the job and will leave at some point. So there is some form of retention compensation needed to keep them from hitting up Denny's as a cook. They know pilots won't leave.

The only profession that I know of where people pay to have the job. Are there other jobs out there that people pay a substantial fee to just have?

The best thing going for regional FO's is whatever your mom is making for dinner. Living with your parents at 26, priceless.

I moved out for the second time at 27. Yay regionals! I'd still be living at home if my fiancé didn't make 3X what I make. Yay regionals!

When I worked at an FBO the corporate FA's were always very pretty. There was a British one on a GV that I still fantasize about. Sexy accent and just beautiful. Figured I would marry an fa... then reality set in. Airline fa's by and large (at the regionals anyway) are usually naive and uneducated. Very few can hold a conversation about anything other than People magazine or the Kardashians.

If a pilot has a posted photo on hotornot, they should get there pay deducted per the dbag override clause.

Then again, maybe I should be penalized for knowing that site exists in the first place!

haha, very nice. You should get an override for creative humor. I am sure you increase productivity amongst your crew due to sunnier dispositions.
