The washout rate is probably higher than 1% but almost all of those are guys and gals who had some kind of attitude coming in.
The key to success at Air Wisconsin is hard work and a good attitude. If you come here wanting to succeed and are willing to work hard you'll do fine. The books are pretty straight forward, the training dept. is solid and they will work with you if you work with them.
Come on time.
Do your homework/reading every day.
Study your profiles, limitations and memory items 'til you're blue in the face.
Learn the outside check items from the picture book.
Have fun.
Don't be a loner.
Drink beer, it's Air Wisconsin after all!

No joke though---what he said is the key. Go to class, pay attention, study, STUDY LIMITATIONS/MEMORY ITEMS, and you'll do fine. Good luck! No joke--at indoc they said the washout rate was about 1% and largely due to attitude issues.
