Eagke has more power than you think. AA and Airways need them. They cannot be closed down like comair. Sure it could happen but it will take time. A long time. Mainline management is now getting greedy. If eagle pilots stand their ground, what could happen? RAH or go jets will get more airplanes? Big deal. They won't be able to staff them anyway. The cheapest pilots are the ones already on property ready to go.

There is no doubt that we have leverage, the problem is that we have a scared and uninformed pilot group and out union reps believe the safest course of action is to collaborate with management. We have many week minded individuals at Eagle, they just want the paint to stop and are being sold that concessions is the way to do so.

It's amusing when people toss around "our" flying. It's not our flying or your flying. It belongs to the person/people writing the checks. And that isn't any of us. Keep that in mind next time you don't return a smile or hello in passing in some terminal. Scabs not included of course.
