On the call he tells everybody they're organizing an in person meeting in Washington... But you non ALPA airlines can not attend.

So, a movement that was not affiliated with any specific union got hijacked by this jackass so he could wreck the unity, and protect ALPA Nationals cash cow of union dues.

You STW guys need to call your own teleconference again, and leave this jackass out of the equation. He represents ALPA, NOT pilots. That is, when he's not swiping union member money for personal use. I'm told he had to repay thousands of dollars to ALPA from just a few days worth of his receipts, and now it's been turned over to federal investigators. Why do any of you listen to him.

+2. Very well put my friend.

Just curious it sounds like you were on the call, were you?

It was an ALPA teleconference not STW.

STW, do not trust the eagle MEC chair or vice chair. They are management stooges. Also, do not trust any alpa eagle representative from Chicago, they are in management back pocket. Do not allow alpa to direct any and all your dealings with other union representatives of other carriers or those with out a union (or other than alpa).

You folks do not need to get together in Washington, pick a day anywhere an meet there. Teleconfence with out alpa involvement, for that matter use Skype for conference call, also I would recommend all to record conversations.

Momentum is slowly building to fight against management and to hold alpa accountable, do not lose you will or the reason for the fight.

Just an idea

Ya! What he (or she) said! I hope most everyone is excited and positive over this whole STW thing. Are the pilots at the ALPA airlines communicating this frustration to their unions?

I would like to see all the ALPA pilots that are contributing to the PAC pull their money and let's put it towards stopping the whipsaw and the "B" scale.

" I am part of the 15% that voted NO!"

Sept ALPA Magazine Article

Just read this, did anyone else?

"On August 13, ALPA's fee for departure airline groups signed a unified statement making clear that the the Association will not permit whipsawing of FFD pilot groups and affirming that ALPA's collective bargaining agreements should promote career paths for FFD pilots to mainline airlines."

The article goes on, and I honestly did not feel like typing out the whole thing.

Thoughts? I honestly feel that agreement is not worth the paper it is printed on, but that is just me.

Stop the Whipsaw!

Since when has ALPA printed something that wasn't just a bunch of "rah-rah ALPA sticks together and works hard for the line pilot BS." All ALPA is interested in is keeping that bureaucracy in Herndon open and paying the hundreds of folks that work there way above market wages. Just like Congress, ALL ALPA positions from the top to the bottom need term limits.
