Check out those SEXXY underwing engines.

I would PAY someone to fly that thing

skyxbomb 07-31-2013 01:21 PM

I should go buy an E jet type so I can laterally move to the airline that will take concessions to fly that baby!!

MrMustache 07-31-2013 01:26 PM

Hahahahahahahaha they don't have printers! What losers!

mynameisjim 07-31-2013 01:41 PM

I don't recognize the guarded switch by itself on the center pedestal closest to the cabin. Anyone else?

pilot0987 07-31-2013 01:47 PM

pc power. pax have outlets in their seats.

MasterOfPuppets 07-31-2013 01:51 PM

Don't recognize it either but I'm going to guess its for the personal outlets at each seat.

Its gotta Auto Brakes so AA must want them to be CAT II also it already has an MEL. (Orange sticker above CA MCDU)

You guys need auto brakes for CAT II?

ERJF15 07-31-2013 02:27 PM

What does auto brakes have to do w/CAT II?

MasterOfPuppets 07-31-2013 02:35 PM

Don't know I was never CAT II qualified at Shuttle but was told by an LCA that we needed them and thats why S5 was never CAT II. Never saw an OPS Spec for it so I had no reason to doubt him.

Auto brakes not required for Cat II certification.

outofwork 07-31-2013 02:45 PM

It looks like a UAX Shuttle America airplane...whoop-de-doo. I wonder who gets to be the lucky ones to fly it tomorrow.

rightside02 07-31-2013 03:16 PM

I have never flown the E170 series stuff, but I have flown for a few airlines that have been CAT II certified and autobreaks has nothing to do with it. Either way good looking pic, i like the color scheme, but sadly dont like the low rages associated. Makes me cry in my sleep....

EMAW 07-31-2013 03:18 PM

The 175s have auto-brakes as an option? I'm pretty sure that the 190s are the only ones at Republic that have them. I could be wrong.

deadstick35 07-31-2013 03:25 PM

Does it have t/r's?

TillerEnvy 07-31-2013 03:52 PM

The new 175's being received now will all come with auto brakes. Yes, the 190's have auto brakes as well.

RJ Pilot 07-31-2013 06:52 PM

Subpar company, subpar pilots. Those pilots are as responsible as management.
Why? Because they choose to work for a subpar crappy outfit undercutting everyone out there.

Thats the truth.

pete2800 07-31-2013 07:44 PM

I'd like a power outlet up front in the Q...

We also do CATIII with no autobrakes. Heck even the manual brakes barely work.

No need to nominate you - you have achieved TOOL OF THE DAY all by your lonesome.

Any pilot who sees this plan and thinks a single thought other than "Ugh" has a screwed up view of this industry.

Subpar post for a subpar individual ^

XJT Pilot 08-01-2013 11:09 AM

We have auto brakes on the 145. I automatically hit the brakes every time I land. Right?

OnMyWay 08-01-2013 11:46 AM

Looks like the inside of an RJ to me. Woopy...

it is an RJ.

embraerjetpilot 08-01-2013 12:08 PM

Nope..its a DC9 replacement being flown by a company that still acts like its flying turboprops.

And management laughs all the way to the bank.

XJT Pilot 08-01-2013 12:28 PM

Who is flying them? And for how much?

Agreed. Maybe not the "subpar pilot" part but everything else. Pilots going to work there are absolutely just as responsible. F Republic.

Now that Eagle is a brand, I agree with your comment.

Which part? Eagle was no better before. I think you've read that silly saying you guys have a few too many times. What is it? "Through these portals pass the biggest Internet blowhards." Or something like that. . .

says the undercutting bottom-feeder Republic pilot who happily signed up for subpar wages and a subpar contract.. Lol

Enjoy the Eagle flying and your no cancellation pay out of Ohare in the winter.. While real Eagle pilots are displaced out of Chicago and their homes to a accommodate all the RAH bottom-feeders coming in.

SpeedyVagabond 08-01-2013 01:40 PM

Ah, another Eagle clown. Are they recruiting from the circus?

What did you do to better eagle?? Did you help negotiate their contract? Did you even know how to fly when the original contract was voted on? Doubtful

Nice try "tough" guy

MasterOfPuppets 08-01-2013 01:53 PM

Ryan more than 3/4 of our airline "signed up" to work for republic prior to 10/2007 when our contract expired. Also we have not signed an "undercutting" contract.

In other words your comments are useless and you have missplaced anger.

RJ......calling the pilots sub par is a little below the belt don't you think? I'm sure you didn't mean to say that.....

Indeed. The pilots don't take each other's flying. Isn't that obvious? You Eagle guys/gals don't really have to have that explained to you do you? Additionally, it's not your flying or our flying. It's Doug Parker's flying. And he's going to play all the regional units off each other just like Delta is doing. That's going to drive down wages and benefits and there's absolutely nothing any of us can do about it unless we feel strongly enough about it to either get out of aviation, thereby strangling the regionals of pilots, or risk prison time violating the RLA.

Actually it was our flying. The only way they are able to give this flying away now is because of this faux bankruptcy.
We had scope before that prevented this and now it's gone.

Not really. The fact is that any route you were flying was given to you by the grace of American Airlines. It's their flying no matter what's written in your contract.

Ah, another kid with a grudge because Eagle rejected him.

If we meet I'll buy you lunch. We all know how little you Republic pilots make. It is really hard to be mad when I feel so sorry for you.

I suppose then by your reasoning it's just a big free for all. Union agreements mean nothing. Let's make all domestic routes Regional airlines... after all it's American Airline's routes.
Suit yourself.
