Default AE Equity/Money Distribution

Anybody notice on the new jetnet where you find epay (statements, etc.) that there is a brand new tab/icon as of today named "Equity Hub."

Any news from the union or company regarding this matter that I missed? I presume that something regarding this is relatively near seeing as how there is a new tab that was not existent 24 hours ago.

Under current procedures by management and the MEC, they will inform us about it after it has been discussed on the forums for a week or so.

Sounds about right. I presume something is up, whether imminent or not is not known. But last I knew, the union had a Aug. 15th deadline for the information and status of the members.

Rumor, rumor, heard this two weeks ago, they are thinking in giving it to us in stock in new aa, but you will have to pay higher taxes due to gains. I hope it is just cash.

Take a look at your 401k. I have a new account set up under my name under some type of equity. I have $5.89 in that account somehow. This is separate from my regular 401k account.

I guess $5.89 is better than nothing.

I asked about all this a few hours too soon. All applicable information is live on jetnet. And yes, it's stock (actually preferred stock) unless the union has worked something else out. The $5.89 is just to open all accounts and will be taken back once the actual funds are distributed. You need to log-in into your retirement account and verify/fill in a W-9 form for tax purposes.
