Yeah right.
You laugh at me and the company laughs at you all the way to the bank. AMR is a brilliant company, they know half their pilot group are spineless cowards like yourself who won't stand up for anything. I cringe to think how out of shape and slovenly you are that you can't do jepp updates or carry a kit bag. Disgusting.

Yea but the company is leaving a lot of flying in OT and staffing the airline with reserves. Since we are so hefty, how come we run out of CA on a daily basis and reserves are flying over 50 hrs a month?

The company would ideally like the reserves to fly 75 hours a month, so they'll try to squeeze them even more.

Umm...

What exactly would we stand up for? I can see it now

50 Hours of RSV flying is not the same as a line holder flying 50 hours. While you may be lucky and get 4 or 5 4-day trips that were from people calling in sick to equal 75+ hour flying, generally you are doing very inefficient reserve flying which is a few turns here, with an over night added, then another turn, then a overnight again (because we know how the 1 turnback rule is working) all sprinkled with long sits, or being released only to be called right back in early.

If we were so hefty on reserves, we couldnt be cancelling flights due to OP CREW - UNABLE TO CREW.

I agree we are hefty on FOs in certain statuses.

I am also glad I am not the only one who believes RJ Pilot gets a woody trolling eagle threads spreading doom and gloom.

Yep did it during a long turn on company time. People like you are the reason this industry is garbage, no pride or self worth. You sit on here trolling Eagle threads to justify your miserable existence all the while pretending to be at peace with your career at a regional. Truth is you were either too lazy to apply anywhere or more likely the interviewers at a mainline recognized your awful attitude and sent you home.

I understand trolling, it can be fun and I've been guilty of it before. If its a large part of your life though maybe some therapy is in order.

Until then, I enjoy every minute of it!
Saw that response coming.

Another one that will get a prefabricated response faster than "denied due to staffing" would be asking RJPilot about the fleet future, furlough protection, or as you illustrated - his future at this company.

So why the upgrades? I'm not sure if the news is good, bad or neither. 135's will be returned in the next 60 days and I haven't heard of any additional flying, ASA, or fleet plan. On top of that we usually have a reduction in hours in the fall so why now? Seems to me this has more to do with the flow to AA than any positive news for L-Eagle.

It's not your money it's your lack of pride and self worth. By buying everything out of pocket for that program you're selling yourself short and it's sad. People in the regionals have This complex where they actually believe theyre worth less than other pilots and so they accept the swill our companies feed us. It's nothing against you personally, just a very sad indicator of how far this profession has fallen.
