You laugh at me and the company laughs at you all the way to the bank. AMR is a brilliant company, they know half their pilot group are spineless cowards like yourself who won't stand up for anything. I cringe to think how out of shape and slovenly you are that you can't do jepp updates or carry a kit bag. Disgusting.

Bzzt, I understand your position on the EFB’s. Opting in or out of the EFB is a personal choice. If someone decides that they no longer want to carry a hefty chart case and deal with all the updates, that’s their choice. It does not mean they are out of shape spineless cowards. It’s a luxury that some are willing to pay for. You can have a $1 taco from Taco Bell for dinner or you can spend a $100 on a nice stake, it’s a personal choice to pay for luxury.
Every slight and concession we accept lowers the bar further and hurts every other company and pilot. Humans are very selfish by nature I understand that, but that selfishness is what has gotten us in the predicament we're in today.

It's really not about the money, it's about people not standing up for what they deserve. When every other airline gets their EFBs paid for by the company why should we as a pilot group accept that we have to pay for our own? Also the precedent it sets is something every other management group can look at and say "Well guess we'll make our pilots pay for this, Eagle did."
