Regional Airlines with agreements
Hello everyone. I was just curious as to how the regional airlines work as far as what airline you fly for. For example SkyWest flies for United Express and Delta Connection (plus some others probably). What determines if you fly for UAX or DC or any of the other airlines?

Love it! You guys give the best advice.

And if you really are the cream of the crop, you get to fly only the airplanes with the Skywest logo on it. I'm sorry I just couldn't resist.

The top guns at SKW are based in SLC and fly Delta Connect. The rest are spread around the system.

Generally speaking, during initial training pilots are ranked according to skill. The best pilots fly for the delta feed, then united, on down to the bottom, usairways.

How does it work at a wholly owned like psa or eagle? Do they assume the whole class is top gun?
