Gojet has to be the most talked about subject on the board. We are such losers.

Im sure I am going to upset some people buy saying this.......but I think and have obsreved that most mainline pilots could are less about Gojet.....and even most dont know who they even are. The largest group/section of pilots that seem to care seem to be regional pilots and mostly younger guys. Like I said, I am one person and only a small ovbervation and comment. :-)

....Here is my REAL question....I am really curious; does anyone that matters really care about this?

I would bet that with 1-2k of pic from there and an internal rec somewhere = hired......just a guess.....

I completely reserve the right to be wrong, and no i dont work there, I am just curious how its any different from RAH, SKYW, and others( campanies , not pilots) who low ball for flying and war out for more flying/bigger planes for less.......seems all the same to me.

When I jumpseat on mainline, I educate the big boyz. Most have heard of it, but some don't know all the details. After they get it explained to them, they seem to dislike it. All the HP pilots know about Freedom A, so they automatically despise gojets.

GoJet pilots are basically undercutting their own (TSA) pilot group, which is why they are so disliked...they work for the same company (the name gojets is an alter-ego of TSA) but are willing to do it for less than the TSA contract. This is not fair competion.

Also if you are entry-level and looking at gojets, remember that a lot of those p*ssed off regional pilots are ahead of you...they will make it to the majors before you get an interview. Did you know that SWA posts a list of the names of all prospective new-hires in their crew rooms? If ANY SWA pilot sees your name, doesn't like it, and drops a word to the chief pilot...bad for you.

Do you think there are any ex-TSA pilots at SWA? Can you imagine one of them looking at the list of new-hires and comparing it with his list of gojeters...

Go Navy.
