AE 824's about to be shafted again.

Here we go again,L- AE 824's pilots with the opportunity to flow to mainline, are now required to take a pilot skills test prior to employment.

Its ok, it only took 13yrs for the last AE with AA seniority to flow…. But hey, lots of movement at L-AE with tons of upgrades soon!!!!!

Thats not the point. The agreement is with NO Interview, NO medical.
It should be a smooth transfer. Way different than a street hire.

So again, you take a something from EL and to APC and spin it to scare people. The 824 arbitration settlement is clear, they can offer all the test they want but they can't turn someone down. Post the language of the 824 LOA and the letter that AA sent to the flow guys.

824 LOA, 5.f

"Interview - Eagle pilots who are offered pilot employment at AA under the provisions of this Letter will not be required to undergo any portion of an employment interview at AA.

The union is seeking clarification from management, the language is clear, even if there is a grievance it will be reviewed in an expedited process and they are already meeting with management and the arbitrator before Thanksgiving.

Can we close this thread? We really don't need another one of RJ's 824 diatribes.

Or just about any of his usual threads. I want to start some rumors over at EL just to watch him spin it over here.

Seconded. Remember RJ Pilot, truck drivers only get paid by the hour they drive. Less time trolling, more time trucking

I tried to be a truck driver. Got rejected so now I fly for the regionals.

Oh well. More switches anyway.
