At the regional level there are no pilots to hire. So the pay should go up drastically. Right?
No, Captain Moak's plan is to jam down the Endeavor bankruptcy contract on all the regionals. Why? What kind of leadership is that?
Perhaps he missed the supply/demand class.
Food stamp pay.
$23 per hour for an 80 hour month translates into $11.50 for a 40 hour a week worker. When we take this pay and divide it by the actual hours away from home, it is less than $5 an hour.
Not bad for flying a $20 million dollar jets with hundreds of lives in your hands.
What is most pathetic about the worst leadership in ALPA history is the fact that if the flying public knew about this they would be outraged and frightened.

the only way alpa can guarantee a quid pro quo with airline management is to force the regional pilots that alpa represents to take concessions. With this airline management will give benefit increases to the alpa represented pilots at mainline at there next negotiations.
This has been the game for years. ALPA should be sued by every alpa regional represented pilot for discrimination, violation of fair representation for extortion and intimidation to the mec's. in the 17 years alpa has represented eagle pilots, 2 mec's and three bases have been threatened to be taken into receivership by alpa national and they would decide form alpa national what will be agreed to.
ALPA is nothing more than a legalized mafia organization.

No, what the Regionals need to do is decertify Alpa and form their own Ralpa. Then you wouldn't be under the thumb of Alpa and the conflict of interest that is so blatantly obvious. At the current rate the best the Regionals can hope for is a staple & B scale at their Major carrier. It'll take another 10 yrs for this to play out.
