Whose not providing housing during training? I have a sneaky suspicion but I could be wrong...

Wow...that's pretty rough. I know the Comfort Inn is right across the street from FlightSafety down there but 2 months in a hotel is probably outta the price range of a first year FO in training. You can ask around and see if there's a crashpad around, but without a car, again, that could be a lil' rough. Good luck at TSA...we had several guys from there in my class that praised the pilot group but despised management. I have heard training is pretty tough there and worrying about where you're going to live can't help at all.

Edit - When I checked out after 5 weeks, I saw the bill at the Comfort Inn and with the airline rate it added up to about $1100 dollars. You may be able to cut that down if you checkout and go home on the weekends. I think I only spent 2 weekends there while i was in training.

Check out the Pear Tree in. Its across the highway from the airport. The long term rates are pretty reasonable.
