your thoughts on ASA

Wasn't it 2+ years ago that managment said if we didn't make concessions, ASA wouldn't get the new flying/aircraft? What happened...
The pilots said no and ASA got the flying anyway.
Lookie lookie... Now, ASA pilots still aren't backing down on their contract and they are getting more aircraft! Not too bad.

Nice...hopefully this will lead to a snowball effect in luring pilots or convincing the ones already there to stay. It will definitely take a while to see the QOL go up, but hey, it's time to look on the brighter side of life.

I heard that the class that just found out their bases mostly bid for ATL and those that bid LAX got what they wanted. Is there something floating around about LAX not happening or are they just not getting that many aircraft there?

In a memo date about two weeks ago, Scott Hall mentioned that they expansion in LAX would be delayed. He did not say for how long. The only thing that was stated was that DAL's plans had changed. They are going to have 4 hard lines for now.
On a side note. They are having major teething pains out there. LAX is not good to do a Mexico turn followed by a domestic turn 45 minutes later. Until they can figure out a solution to this it may be sometime before the true expansion starts.
