Default CRJ or ERJ?

I apologize, as I failed to specify. CRJ or ERJ 145. All else being equal (QOL, upgrade time, pay etc) I was just wondering about which airplane is more fun to fly, more comfortable, quieter etc.

The CRJ might have a slight edge however this could be easily tipped into the ERJ category by any one of the other "equal" considerations. A decision only you can make so the pick the one that you like best.

Yes, that time is so valuable that a new-hire FO with 20 hours of "engine under wing time" will get called by FDX/UPS/Legacies before a 10,000 hour check-airman with tail-engine RJ time

Both the CRJ-200 and ERJ-145 are flying roadblocks requiring off course vectors to prevent them from impeding all the airplanes behind them. So if I did have a personal choice I wouldn't fly either one.

But I don't get that choice, the airline pays me to fly an ERJ-145.

My personal preference is in the order I would want to fly them are: CRJ-700, ERJ-135, CRJ-900, CRJ-200, ERJ-145/140, ERJ-170/175

E175/crj7,9 then 145 then crj2. In that order.

Already do. It's called working for Republic.

Having flown both.( over 4yrs on each). ERJ145 is more fun to hand fly... But would choose the CRJ200 if i had to spend more then a year on the plane....it is better all around.. (My opinion only)

Pretty sure we both ate a sh--sandwich first year at majors.. Me at CAL and you at airways.. So stop ridiculing these regional guys who are working so hard to make it.
