Has anyone thought about a press release might be in order?
"American Airlines Pilots Forced to Fly Sick" would make a great headline. Let mainline try to explain that it is only on SOME of the flights they sell tickets for that are risky.

Question:.......are you still employed at the same company?
There's a big difference between getting your peeped slapped and getting terminated over a ridiculous policy....
Hell I threatened another pilot outside of work ( he deserved it). When the company found out, they called me in and simply asked me not to beat the shi.t outta him at work..... My answer: " no problem"
I went into the company meeting knowing full well I wasn't losing my job over an off duty disagreement. It's the difference between getting a wiener flick and getting rammed in the buttocks

There are ways around CASS. You can always tell the airline you are jumpseating on that your passport is expired and you are not in cass. They will list you as cabin only and will not query CASS. United has even switched back to a paper form. CASS is only required to sit in the flight deck. There are some airlines that require you to be in CASS regardless but I know Southwest and United don't for sure.

Or just show up to work and infect the whole base. That'll teach 'em.

That would be misleading as they work for "American Eagle" not American Airlines.

Passengers buy tickets on "American Airlines", and usually have no idea when they are flying on Eagle. Making it deliberately ambiguous when the company has to defend their policy is the whole point.
