Expect to hear this language appended to each and every airline generated statement regarding degradation of service, regardless of cause.

The problem is that this same thing happened to JB in 2008(or 07??) under the old rules.

It depends. For some carriers who received FAA approval, the new rules started on 1/1/14.

We started 117 on 1/1, but my first two days of the six were 12/30 and 12/31. I still think it is legal, though. I didn't realize this was in the regional section. Each day was a single 5-6 hour leg, so no long FDP's.
